Ganztagesfahrt Tauchkurs

Tauchgang 1: Carlsons Corner

Tauchgang 2: Balena

Letzter Tag des Open Water Kurses und die letzten beiden Freiwassertauchgänge standen an. Zum ersten Dive sind wir nach Carlsons Corner gefahren, haben die letzten Übungen gemacht und haben die Unterwasserwelt erkundet. Vorbei an Riesenkugelfisch, Oktopus und Tüpfelkarninchenfischen.

Wrecks

Wieder auf dem Boot gab es eine Einweisung in Nitrox und der Wunsch nach einem Wrack wurde laut. Wir also nix wie abgelegt und zur Balena. Die Aufgabe hier war es den Tauchgang selbständig zu planen und durchzuführen. Dieses klappte auch mehr oder weniger. 🙂 Am Ende hatten sich aber alles sortiert und so konnte man auch einen Fledermausfisch, Kronensamtfische und einige Schnecken erspähen. Full Day Trip

Dive 1: Shaab Dorfa

Dive 2: Erg Sabina

Today we where on the Galambo. We left the marina at 8h30 this morning. Guest and guides had coffee and together we decided to go drift at Shaab Dorfa. This was a great decision. We geared up and jumped next to the big double blocks. There we where greeted by five beautiful eagle rays witch gave us an amazing start to our dive day. We continued the dive comfortably swimming with the current that was pushing us to the boat when half way through the dive we spotted a giant guitar ray! What an awesome sight specially after already being so lucky with the eagle rays. Also seen on this dive was a huge swimming octopus and a stone fish. After this great dive we ascended and got ready for lunch which as always was delicious. Everybody was afterwards in a good mood so we chilled on the boat and had some tea and a few moments of sleep.

Farbwechsel-Oktopus

For the afternoon we chose to do something pretty and relaxing – for this we went to Erg Sabina and did not regret it. The current was mostly with us so there was not much swimming to do and the block that lies a little away from the reef offered a show of fish and colour that can’t be found in many places. In this dive we found another octopus, a dragon head and some nudibranches. We had a lot of fun in the water and on the boat. It was great day and we can’t wait to be together on the boat tomorrow. 🙂

Ganztagesfahrt

Tauchgang 1: Fandira / Shaab Dorfa

Tauchgang 2: Shaab Quais 7 Zwerge

Heute wünschten unsere Gäste zu Fandira betauchen, aber leider hatten wir ganz viel Wind und Welle. Dann machten wir ein Kompromiss: Wir springen bei Fandira Block und tauchen zu Dorfa Lagune. Ein sehr toll Tauchgang wo wir haben ein echt groß Napoleon, drei große Tunas, mehrere Großen Barrakudas, einen Moses Seezunge, einen Teppich-Krokodilfisch und einen kleine Schildkröte gesehen.

Der Mittagspause verbrachten wir zwischen die Inseln, wo da war genug Schutz von der Wind zu genießen die Sonne. Zweite Tauchgang machten wir dann bei die sieben Zwerge im Shaab Quais. Hier konnten wir Varianten von Seenadeln, Drachenkopfe, mehrere Großaugen-Stachelmakrele, Schwärme von Füsiliere, zwei Dickkopf-Stachelmakrele und die Highlight war: ein Blaupunkt Kopfschildschnecke. Und auf dem Weg zurück hatten wir noch mal Glück: ein Gruppe Delfine spielen unter unser Boot. Was für ein toll Tag!

Half day trip

Dive 1: Shaab Eshta

Today we had a half day trip on the Salama and we went to do a stationary dive at Shaab Eshta. For this dive we started off slow just outside the main block and were immediately met with a school of approximately thirty spanish mackerel hunting small sardines; this continued through out the entire dive and was very exciting to observe.

Around the main block we were able to see several lion fish, the usually blue spotted stingrays, and a crocodile fish camoflauged on the bottom. Last but not least, the emperor fish could be seen in his regular block making appearances every now and then. Visibility was quite good and there was no current which for a very nice and relaxed dive today. After the dive we sat top side and enjoyed the sunny day as lunch was coming out of the oven. The lunch was fresh and delicious as always. It was great day today on the Red Sea with good weather, easy diving and a great lunch to wrap it all up. 🙂
