Dive 1: Sachua Abu Galawa

Dive 2: Shaab Samir

Back on the Salama for our little bunch of divers today. In the morning we chose to dive at Sachua Abu Galawa as a drift to the line, hoping to see some rays. After jumping, we dove down to the nice coral blocks a little away from the reef. It didn’t take long for us to become lucky and see 4 big stingrays searching the sand for food together. After that we quickly found a feathertail stingray taking a nap half buried in the ground. We then reached the reef that we followed back to the boat. On the way we saw some nudibranchs and scorpionfish.

Afterwards we had a few hours for lunch and relaxation before going to Shaab Samir for the second dive. We dove it as a drift pick up. We didn’t find much during the dive apart from a spotted snake eel, but that was ok as the blocks, that you see during the dive, are beautiful and full of live. It is amazing to dive trough and around. After the dive we got on our way back to the centre enjoying the last moments in the sun before arriving and having a beer at the Shaab Stella Bar.

Halbtagesfahrt

Tauchgang 1: Shaab Eshta

Heute fuhr die Joker mit Halbtagsgästen und Neuankömmlingen vom Blue Water Dive Resort und von James & Mac raus. Wir hatten uns Shaab Eshta für den Tauchgang ausgesucht. Shaab Eshta ist ein wunderschöner Tauchplatz, wo es viel zu sehen gibt. Hier konnten wir auch in Ruhe unseren Bleicheck machen. Also perfekt für einen ersten Dive. Heute haben wir einen juvenilen Imperator Kaiserfisch, einen Anglerfisch, ungefähr 20 Kalmare, mehrere Drachenköpfe und eine Pyjamanacktschnecke gesehen. Danach ließen wir uns von der Sonne aufwärmen. Es war wieder ein schöner Wintertag am Roten Meer.
